The purpose of Supportive Housing is to provide services to individuals when their service requirements justify the need for the availability of 24-hour assistance.  Both personal support services and essential homemaking are provided in the individual’s home, preferably a rent geared to income, community residential setting to adults with a significant permanent physical disability.  Services such as light homemaking and meal preparation will be offered when personal care is required.

The Association offers a variety of program models from which the individual can choose the most suitable to meet their individual needs with some assistance from the ILS Intake Department.

Some of the ILS Supportive Housing programs require the individual to be registered with the County of Simcoe Social Housing by completing an application.
